Nicole Fernandez-Coffaro

Nicole Fernandez-Coffaro is a Cuban-American singer and actor, celebrated for her rich, warm soprano, her versatility, and her powerful, connected performances. She was most recently seen onstage in Oklahoma! at Carnegie Hall, and Love Life at New York City Center as a part of their Encores! series. 

Nicole has made her Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center and NY City Center debuts in both opera and musical theatre productions. She sings frequently throughout NYC, during which time she’s worked with some of the country’s finest musical theatre and new music composers and creatives. Nicole is a Kurt Weill Foundation Lotte Lenya Competition finalist, and has performed in theatres throughout the country, enjoying favorite roles such as Martha Jefferson in 1776, and covering Eva Perón in the first U.S. all-Spanish production of Evita

In addition to her stage work, Nicole has sung for high profile events, including backup for Lady Gaga and Bad Bunny at the SNL 50 Homecoming Concert, and backup for Cher at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. 

Bilingual in English/Spanish, she is passionate about her Cuban (+ Italian!) culture, and cultivating diversity en el teatro. Nicole is a native of Orange County, California, and graduated from Chapman University with a BFA in theatre performance, and a minor in classical music.
